Rofe Bowls
The Rofe bowls are a family of objects in the realm of kitchenware that have been conceived during a research in Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, looking at its volcanic landscape.
The series revolves around the concavity as the elemental shape of arid regions like Lanzarote. A void that protects from the wind and collects the rain water. This family of objects is inspired in a number of bodies that can be found in the island, from the craters of the volc
anos to traditional agricultural technics based on excavating the ground.
The bowls are made of conglomerated volcanic gravel.
